We booked for my sister’s birthday, it ended up being a bit of a mess. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived, the food came out cold, and the staff barely checked in on us the whole time. What made it worse was that there wasn’t even a simple “sorry” for any of it. Definitely won’t be choosing tamatanga for any future “special occasions.”

My order was mostly correct, but one item came wrong. It wasn’t a huge deal and I could still use everything else, but it’s always a bit frustrating when you feel like you didn’t quite get what you paid for. Overall, it was okay

Ordered from tamatanga it just wasn’t great. The curry was bland, the chicken was dry like it had been sitting out for a while, and the rice came all clumped together. For the price, I expected a lot better. It was disappointing, so I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

I was disappointed, to be honest. We were told the food would be coming out fresh, but it really didn’t feel that way at all. My curry was barely warm and the rice was almost cold, like it had been sitting there for ages. I mentioned it to the staff because it just wasn’t what they’d promised, but they didn’t seem too bothered and nothing really came of it. Not somewhere I’d be in a hurry to go back to.

I had a good experience overall. The tables were clean, and the toilets were fresh, which always makes a place feel more comfortable. In my opinion, it’s definitely a spot that seems well looked after.

The staff were friendly and polite, but the timing was really frustrating. I stopped in expecting a quick visit, and the service ended up taking way longer than it should have. Nice people, but the wait kind of ruined the experience for me.

I had a small issue, but the manager got back to me really quickly and took care of it without any hassle. i’d recommend them based on how easy they made the whole thing.

Well... I went here with a group and it felt a bit awkward right from the start. We ended up being split up in a strange way, and just getting everyone’s orders sorted seemed to take forever.
The food also came out at different times, so some of us were already eating while others were still waiting. The staff were friendly enough, but the place just didn’t feel very well set up for bigger groups. I probably wouldn’t book it again for a group meal.

This place are really easy to get to after work, and it’s close to the shops too. We didn’t have to walk far at all, which was perfect after a long day.

It was just way too loud for us, and the kids got bored quickly. Probably not a place I’d pick again for a family outing.

I asked about allergen info and, to be fair, the staff did check for me. But they seemed a bit unsure, which isn’t exactly what you want when it comes to that stuff. It wasn’t a total mess or anything, just felt a little half-assed.

Not gonna lie, I was disappointed with the menu. There just aren’t many choices, and everything kind of feels the same...

I really appreciated how beautifully everything was plated. The colors were so vibrant and made the food look even more inviting. It was such a nice touch and definitely added to the whole experience...

Ordered from Tamatanga and the food was decent overall, but the spice level thing was a little confusing. There was something about it that just felt a bit inconsistent.

I asked for mild, but it still came out quite spicy for me. My friend went for extra hot and said it tasted almost the same as the regular one, so we weren’t really sure how much they actually adjust it.

I’d probably still order again because the food was nice enough, but I do wish the spice options were clearer or just a bit more reliable

Went to tamatanga with my family and it was such an easy visit for me in my wheelchair. The staff didnt make a big fuss or anything, they just sorted us a table with enough space and were really helpful. The accessible toilet was fine too, which is always a relief. It was just nice not to feel awkward for once. I’d definitley go back.

I booked after letting them know I have a dairy allergy, but once I was there it didn’t really feel like everyone was on the same page. A couple staff members gave me different answers about what was actually safe, and when the food came out there wasn’t any clear label or reassurance. I ended up having to ask twice, which made me feel like I was being annoying instead of just trying to stay safe. The whole thing felt rushed, and I didn’t feel taken seriously. For me personally, it’s not worth the risk and I wouldn’t go back.

I think my food showed up later than it should have, and it was definitely cold by the time it got here. I’m also sure my naan was missing, which was frustrating because I was really looking forward to it.

I’m absolutely sure the wait felt way longer than it should have. Everything else might be fine, but wow, the waiting part really stood out to me.

The bottomless brunch was alright, but reading between the lines, it felt like they were either short-staffed or just not quite on top of things. The drinks took a while to come out, which kind of defeats the point a bit, but the food was decent and the staff were friendly enough when we did speak to them. Not a bad experience, just not one I’d rush back for
